Mary-Ann van der Byl

Mary-Ann started in the short-term insurance Industry in 1990, initially as a receptionist, and worked her way up to Personal Lines Broker in 1992. She continued in this role until 2005 and then moved over to Commercial Lines, where she still functions today.

She is no stranger to hard work and dedication. Realizing the importance of education, Mary Ann dedicated herself to part-time studies, completing her Grade 12 in 2014 and going on to graduate with a NQF4 Certificate through the Insurance Institute of Namibia in 2018.

Currently her focus areas are small to medium businesses and commercial policies, as well as being involved in tenders at Welwitschia Insurance Brokers.
